Hyundai Records Record-Breaking January 2023 Sales

Hyundai recently announced their 2023 January sales and we’re happy to announce that they had a record-breaking January! In January alone they sold 52,001 units, marking an increase of 9% from this month last year and the third consecutive month for record total sales. In addition, models like the Venue, Elantra HEV, IONIQ 5, Santa Fe HEV, Palisade, Kona EV and Kona N all set total sales records last month, and it was an all-time best-ever retail and total sales month for the Elantra N.

The 26th annual Customer Loyalty Engagement Index (CLEI) conducted by Brand Keys was recently released and we’re happy to announce for the 14th consecutive year, Hyundai has been ranked first in customer loyalty in the automotive industry. Hyundai Ends 2022 by Setting New Records

Hyundai concluded the fourth quarter of 2022 with a bang - setting a new all-time annual retail sales record in addition to having “Best-Ever” December total and retail sales and Q4 total and retail sales. For December, Hyundai sold 72,058 units - an increase of 40% compared to December 2021, marking December’s highest sales in Hyundai history. Cumulatively retail sales were up 27% in December, marking the fifth consecutive month of record-setting sales with SUVs taking up 74% of those retail sales with more than 47,800 units sold.

Hyundai Wins Three Categories in Newsweek Auto Awards

Last week NewsWeek released the list of the 2022 Autos Award winners, highlighting the industry’s best in 33 individual vehicle and brand categories. Cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans were all assessed to determine winners. The NewsWeek auto team drove 200 vehicles, rating their performance, handling and braking, technology, cargo area, seating, interior design and pricing. IONIQ 6 Ranges Released

Earlier this month, Hyundai relieved consumers’ range anxiety with their announcement of the upcoming Ioniq 6’s statistics. According to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP), the electrified streamliner will deliver upwards of 382 miles of all-electric range per charge. This is made possible by Hyundai’s architecture for EVs, their Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), and the vehicles ultra-low wind resistance. While delivering optimal electric performance, the E-GMP provides 800V ultra-fast charging from 10 to 80 perfect in just 18 minutes!

Hyundai IONIQ 6 Digital World Premier

Earlier this week Hyundai launched their digital world premier film, answering many consumer questions. In terms of range and charging capabilities, the vehicle will deliver an estimated all-electric range of approximately 380 miles of range on a single charge. Made possible by Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) it will have an ultra-fast 400-V/800-V multi-charging capability, allowing the vehicle to charge from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes with a 350-kW charger. We expect to see them on dealer lots sometime during the first quarter of 2023.
